This garden is only about 5 minutes away from TX Tsukuba Station by car or bus (see access information), and is a very popular spot for families with small children. The garden is located along the very busy street called "Higashi O-dori," but you'd be free from the city noise the minute you walk into this garden.

When I visited this place in fall, the elderly visitors were taking about how many "shutter bugs" flock to this Botanical Garden around this time of the year, which doesn't surprise me at all! This place is a very safe, quiet place to enjoy the coloring of leaves and take pictures.
